We love Charlie & Sarah! One afternoon with them and you know they are in love and absolutely right for one another. They wanted a background for their engagement session that was them. So they chose to explore Julian and find spots along the way. Here are a few highlights with our day with them!

We were hired by Spotlight on Entertainment to photograph their "Red Carpet" event at a San Diego AT&T call center. They had celebrity look a likes roam through the call center encouraging the staff to increase their sales for Direct Tv. We had Johnny Depp, Captain Jack Sparrow, James Bond, Rihanna, and Tina Turner all of which were amazing! Really some incredible people check out their facebook sites.

Its true what they say that you can learn something from everyone. Sometimes good things and sometimes bad things, but you can learn nonetheless. Liz & Derek taught us something that we will value the rest of our lives; Just relax, be you, and enjoy what you have in life. On their wedding day when the bride and/or groom is usually on the edge, Liz and Derek were cool and down to earth. Their mood was so contagious that we quickly fell into place and felt like one of the family. We had such a great time being with them on their day. We wish both of them continued success and look forward to photographing them again!

When we found out we were going to have our first baby we were excited but scared. We were so worried about what kind of parents we were going to be, where we were going to live, how do we baby proof a house, what do we need to buy, how do we change a diaper, how do we keep her alive? We at times forgot to just stop, relax and enjoy our baby's first moments in this world. So now that we are expecting our second child we decided to have a little fun with celebrating our new addition. We had a blast doing a baby reveal at balboa park using Chloe, soon to be a big sister, as our main prop! Thanks to Sarah for helping us with this and being a part of the team, you rock! If you are expecting, consider doing one of these sessions as a fun way of telling everyone what your having. Normally a client will contact us to set up an appointment to meet and see our work up close and see if there is a connection between photographer and client. With Mario and Karen our first meeting was on the day of the engagement shoot! We were not sure how things were going to go, however the minute we saw this couple we knew it was going to be fun. The take your shoes off, roll up the pants, get into the fountain at Balboa Park fun! We had a great time photographing them and in the process learning about their goal of opening up a nursing home in San Diego. We wish them both the best and look forward to the wedding at Star of the Sea!
There are some couples who absolutely make you love what you do. This is one of those couples. From the moment we met Michelle and Matt we fell in love with them and knew their day was going to be one to remember. and it truly was, down to every detail. It was orchestrated beautifully and planned perfectly.
I am so grateful for the way that you love. How you love each other, your friends, your families, and everyone fortunate enough to know you. My hope is that you will love like this always. And somehow I already know....that you always will.
